Hermanos Peciña

The Dow Jones will Recover. The opportunity to buy Hermanos Peciña, 2009 will be short lived.

Let’s not dwell on the collapse of the Dow Jones. It has always recovered and if there is one overriding experience that I learnt from all my years in the financial industry it is this: when markets fall significantly they create an opportunity to buy. Then you hold what you bought and buy a bottle of wine to celebrate how clever you are.

And today there will be an opportunity to buy – both stocks, and an indisputable, great wine from Spain.

Only made in exceptional vintages and only then in 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2009, Hermanos Peciña, Señorío de P. Peciña Gran Reserva is the wine you want to buy today. Luis Gutierez called it ‘exceptional…great…classical’. The creamy, spicy and smoky 2009 was produced following the classical method, aging it in used American oak barrels for a very long time (48 months). And only harvested from their oldest vines, averaging 60+ years. This is a sensational wine that occupies every part of your mouth when you taste it. Your nose fills with aromas of cedar, cigar box and dried mushrooms, whilst your mouth savors the richness of juicy, roast beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud. And whilst you could have opened a bottle earlier in the decade, the wine has reached its apogee and is perfect now and probably will be for another 5-8 years. It’s the once in a lifetime wine that you really do need to experience.

To further whet your appetite, Peciña only produced 1,250 cases for the entire global demand and yet the wine is less than $50 per bottle. Insane.

I have slightly more than 2 of those cases at $49 per bottle – market price is $56. On 6 bottles they are yours for $45.00 per bottle. Call me or e-mail to reserve. And don’t worry about the market – Apple has already recovered from 289.23 shortly after the open to 304.18!
